Pumpkin Way
My whole body is tingling with excitement because Halloween is just a day away. Which means it's time to carve those pumpkins! To help inspire you check out these splendid pumpkin carvings from the master crafting hand of Nathan Wesling.
Nathan's unique and distinct carving technique of shaving and carving some intricate tooth filled grins sure make me crack a smile of my own. Check more of Nathan's work here and make sure to read Nathan's about section to learn more about his wonderful carved pumpkin creations!

Looking for a Girlfriend
Once I got past the bad grammar and the idea that this guy might be a desperate creeper I thought it was quite adorable.

A Sketch a Day Keeps the Doctor Away
Well are these daily sketches by Invisible Element not the coolest/silliest/most delightful/the greatest thing you have ever seen? Personally I'm lovin the use of color and subject matter here. I am a sucker for this kind of stuff and the fact that this guy sits down everyday and creates great art. Maybe we should all find something we love and do it daily. Love it!

Photographer Spotlight: Laura Taylor
Laura Taylor is a 20 year old photographer and this gal is probably hands down one of my favorite photographers out there at the moment. I have been following her work for a long time. She just has this almost innocent, childlike way of viewing life and it definitely crosses over into her photographs. She calls her project the Darling Life and every photo she takes makes my jaw drop and my mouth water with envy. She is so good at what she does. I am totally captivated by her stuff. Check out more of Laura's work here and maybe purchase a print or two to cover up those bare white walls I know we all have.

Word(s) of the Day: Can I get a spotlight on Center stage? Chris Piascik
OK. So I don't usually comment on my word(s) of the day findings or post multiple thoughts like this. They tend to speak for themselves am I right? But, um, this is the one exception because I am in complete and utter blissful love with Chris Piascik's creations. I truly think I want to marry this guys work. It is utterly AMAZING. Here is just a taste of what this guy is made of. But seriously this is just scratching the surface of his abounding talent so I recommend checking out his daily drawings for a daily dose of happiness (sort of like what you get from my posts right?).

Get the Look: Chuck from Pushing Daisies
Love this show, and especially Chuck's outfits! My sister recommended that I do a "Get the Look" for Chuck's character, and perhaps maybe sometime in the future I'll do Olive or maybe even Ned. Chuck is so adorable and I am totally entranced by her head scarfs and retro inspired apparel. I love the fact that she is pretty much ALWAYS wearing a dress or skirt. Inspiration explosion from this show I dare say!

Bite Sized Treats You Wear!
Is it just me or is wearable miniaturized sweets not the most adorable idea on the planet? I am totally in love with these treats turned jewelry accessories from Pancake Meow.
