The Floorboards hide Secrets by AdamSmith

Hello

It's been about 8 months since my last post. Why you may ask? Well my dears, life was moving and I wanted sometime to myself and for God. Now I'm at a new school, new people, new location, new beginnings, but I've been missing the old. I have been toying with the idea of recommencing my blog, but piling papers and outrageous amounts of reading have been keeping me away. Now looking back on my busyness I've realized I have been so stressed it's a wonder my hair hasn't fallen out. Something in the past that helped to break up the monotony of school work and channel my stress into something was blogging. So I'm back, we'll see how long it lasts!

Jonathan Adler: Zodiac Pillows

Now Jonathan Adler is brilliant. His designs are classic yet funky. Case in point: his needle point pillows. With these babies he has definetly taken your granny's ho-hum hobby and did some serious re-design. I am currently loving on his Zodiac Pillows. Now the ever flattering question of "what's your sign?" can be answered by a well designed pillow.

Fashion Sneak Peak: J.crew Passport to Portugal

Here are some photos from J.Crew's new catalogue. Gorgeous location and as always fabulously put together outfits! I just love their use of layering and color combinations. I'm eying that skinny pink belt for myself. So I might be late on this but whatever! I don't care, I love J.crew!

Absent.

I am so sorry for my long absence. Let me explain myself. I am taking the whole month of January off from anything media related. Basically it is a media fast. So no Internet, no television, no music. Yikes! I am doing this with my church small group as a way to get away from all of the influences of the outside world and to just focus on God. It is hard, especially staying away from everyone’s beautiful and inspirational blogs. But I am glad that I am doing it. I am definitely a slave to the internet, to television, to EVERYTHING! By doing this I feel like it will put things into perspective for me. I will recommence blogging and commenting on Feb. 1st! I am SO sorry I did not let you all in on this, I just had to cheat to get this out there, I felt bad for just disappearing without an explanation : (

I hope you all had wonderful holidays and are staying healthy. Check back here in February!

Lovies,

Lizzy
