I'm in Love...
With a Wallet.
The price tag? $288 dollars worth of luscious hand tooled supple leather. Is it worth it? Oh yes. Yes it is. I don't think I have ever wanted something as much as I want this. Swoon.

Crayon Sculptures (Repost from Miss Jane)
OK. Before I go into detail about this fabulous Artist and her work I have to give credit where credit is due. So a big THANK YOU! goes out to Sara Christine over at Miss Jane. She blogged about these guys a couple weeks ago and I got really excited and just had to repost them here.
These tiny and colorful crayon sculptures are from Diem Chau. Crayons have always been my favorite coloring method so I totally flipped when I saw these. Check out the detail on these guys. I love how she keeps part of the crayon wrapper on. It adds a bit of whimsy to each piece.
Creative. Novel. Supreme.

Present & Correct: Oh how I love thee
I first discovered some of the products of P&C at an elegant boutique while on my annual family vacation to Ashland Oregon for their Shakespeare Festival. The white lacquered shelves of the store were chalk full of fabulous mouth watering creations from P&C. I have fallen in love and boy have I fallen hard.

In keeping with the Skull Theme
Halloween's over I know but I just can't help myself! I don't know maybe I am just holding on to Halloween or I just really like the look of skulls. Whatever the case I found this illuminated hanging skull light fixture (boy that was a mouthful) to be very alluring.

The Head, More than a Bottle
I don't drink but I have just gone gaga for Crystal Head Vodka. Why? Because it comes in this delicious skull shaped bottle.
I love it when great design is incorporated into what could be such an ordinary thing. Who cares about the alcohol! I just want the bottle! I found this lovely online at Bevmo.com

The Bento Box
I love Bento Boxes. They are such a handy way to carry your yummys around. So I was very delighted to find these colorful ones from Plastica. A fabulous updated version of a traditional Japanese way to pack your meals.

Band of the Week: Eric Hutchinson
OK. So I have been neglecting my band of the week posts. Sorry about that. I guess I just got caught up in the excitement of Halloween. So since my favorite holiday has now come to past for another year I can refocus myself on acquainting you with some of my favorite bands and music groups. So to restart this weekly post I introduce you to Eric Hutchinson. To describe his music I'd have to say he's got sort of an infusion of Jason Mraz and just his own great style. I love his voice and am totally addicted to his song Rock & Roll. Visit Eric's website here to get some more info on his new album which is out now! Oh and why don't you watch his music video for Rock & Roll which I have conveniently placed below!
