Jonathan Adler: Zodiac Pillows

Now Jonathan Adler is brilliant. His designs are classic yet funky. Case in point: his needle point pillows. With these babies he has definetly taken your granny's ho-hum hobby and did some serious re-design. I am currently loving on his Zodiac Pillows. Now the ever flattering question of "what's your sign?" can be answered by a well designed pillow.

Pretty Packaging Please

Perhaps you've seen these already? If not, these pretty patterned cups & bags are designed by Sarah Walsh for Mallard Tea Rooms in Kuntsford. Unfortunately they don't have an online shop, poopoo, because I love the mix&match patterns Sarah created by being "inspired by the eclectic feel of the establishment which is quirky, eccentric and unmistakably English."

Retro.etc & Lotta Kühlhorn

If I ever visit Stockholm Sweden I would totally fill my suitcase with items from Retro.etc

The shop is a fun and colorful fusion of the old and the new, providing retro & vintage products along with some modern day designers such as my designer idol Orla Kiely (see her pretty notebooks above?!) and some fabulous newer designers like Lotta Kühlhorn.

Her designs are bright and bold, with all of that voluptuous retro appeal that I live for. Just look at that wall covered in her fun designs! Here are just a few of her kitchen wares:

Apple Cutting Boards
Bricka Tray

Apple Coasters

Beetroot Tea Towel

Don't forget to check out more of her stuff over at her website! She has tons of wonderful patterns & designs to rifle through!

In keeping with the Skull Theme

Halloween's over I know but I just can't help myself! I don't know maybe I am just holding on to Halloween or I just really like the look of skulls. Whatever the case I found this illuminated hanging skull light fixture (boy that was a mouthful) to be very alluring.

Dave from Mixko Boutique

The Head, More than a Bottle

I don't drink but I have just gone gaga for Crystal Head Vodka. Why? Because it comes in this delicious skull shaped bottle.
I love it when great design is incorporated into what could be such an ordinary thing. Who cares about the alcohol! I just want the bottle! I found this lovely online at Bevmo.com
